Keeping the Love You Find

Details

Our earliest relationships shape the ways we connect, communicate, respond to conflict, and experience intimacy throughout our lives. Often, patterns that once helped us adapt can later limit our ability to create the loving, connected relationships we want.

Keeping the Love You Find is a transformational workshop for individuals who want to understand these patterns, deepen their relationship with themselves, and discover new possibilities for connection—with partners, family, friends, and others.

Through guided experiences, personal reflection, and experiential learning, you will explore how your history influences your present relationships and begin to recognize opportunities for greater awareness, choice, and change.

In a safe and supportive environment, you will be invited to approach yourself and your relationships with curiosity and compassion, opening the way to more authentic connection, greater emotional freedom, and more fulfilling relationships.

You don't have to change who you are to create more meaningful relationships. You can begin by understanding who you have become—and discovering new ways of relating.

What is Keeping the Love You Find?

Keeping the Love You Find is an experiential workshop designed to help individuals understand how their early life experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others. Through guided exercises, reflection, and learning, you’ll explore patterns that influence your relationships and discover new possibilities for connection, intimacy, and personal growth.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Whether you are single, dating, partnered, divorced, or simply curious about your relationship patterns, you are welcome. You do not need to be experiencing a relationship crisis to benefit.

Do I need to be in a relationship to participate?

Not at all! This workshop is specifically designed for individuals. You can explore your relationship history, your hopes for connection, and the patterns you bring to relationships without attending with a partner.

What will I learn?

You’ll have opportunities to recognize how early experiences influence your expectations, emotional responses, communication, and choices in relationships. You’ll explore familiar patterns with greater understanding and compassion and begin to identify new ways of relating that support more meaningful connections.

What is Imago Relationship Therapy?

Imago Relationship Therapy is an approach to relationships that explores how early attachment experiences influence our adult relationships. It emphasizes awareness, empathy, and intentional communication as pathways toward greater understanding and connection. The workshop draws on Imago concepts to support personal insight and relational growth.

Is this a therapy group?

No. This is an educational and experiential workshop rather than group psychotherapy. Although the process may be personally meaningful and emotionally moving, it is not a substitute for individual therapy when that level of support is needed.

Will I have to share personal or painful experiences with the group?

You will be invited to reflect on your experiences and participate in guided exercises. However, you are always encouraged to honor your own boundaries and share only what feels appropriate for you. The intention is to create a respectful, supportive environment where learning can happen at your own pace.

Will I be expected to participate in exercises with other people?

The workshop includes experiential activities designed to support self-awareness and understanding of relational dynamics. Some exercises may involve interaction with other participants. Instructions and expectations will be explained, and you can communicate your comfort level with the facilitator.

What if I'm not currently looking for a romantic relationship?

You can still benefit. The patterns we develop in early relationships can influence our connections with friends, family members, colleagues, and ourselves. Greater awareness can enrich relationships in every area of life.

How long is the workshop and what is the schedule?

The workshop is two full days in person, often on a weekend, starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM with a lunch break (on your own).

What should I bring?

Bring an open mind, a willingness to be curious about yourself, and a journal or notebook if you enjoy writing down reflections. Additional workshop details will be provided before the event.

What can I expect to take away from the workshop?

You can expect opportunities for greater self-understanding, a clearer awareness of your relational patterns, and practical insights to support healthier communication and more fulfilling relationships. Each person's experience is unique, and personal growth continues beyond the workshop itself.
